About Noriko:

I was born, raised, and educated in Japan .  I became restless after receiving my degree from the Japan Women’s Physical Education College.  Against the wishes of my family, friends, and fiancé at the time, I began saving my money to come to the United States . It took me 2 years to do this.  I found myself in a hotel room in San Francisco with only the money I brought; no family, no friends and I didn’t speak English.  I was 26 years old and worn out from years of overtraining my body to try and get in better shape.  I wasn’t training smart and had been dealing with a variety of female problems and medications that didn’t work
.

I felt my move to the U.S. was the perfect opportunity to take charge of my health.  I stopped taking my meds and as I learned a new language, began educating myself on eating more nutritious foods and training smarter instead of longer.  My health problems seemed to subside and I felt healthy and strong.

As my English improved, I made some incredible friends and eventually met my future husband.  Personal Training became a calling for me.  For the past 10 years, I’ve loved helping others reach their goals and live healthier lives.  I’d love to help you too.

On a final note, I’m very proud of my family and feel blessed to have their support.  2008 was a special year for me as I began competing in fitness contests again, and won 1st  place in the Open Class of the Colorado Natural Championships.
